Honeybush Tea From South Africa

Honeybush tea is a herbal tea which has a sweeter taste than most teas and a fragrance of honey (hence its name). This tea is only grown in the Easter and Western Cape provinces of South Africa. The tea is made from the honeybush, which is a shrub and the leaves, stems and flowers are used in the tea production. The name, no doubt, comes from the flowers of the bush, which are bright yellow and have a honey scent. The tea is harvested during the flowering period.
